Cat Lawson

As joint MD with Tamara Gilder, Cat is responsible for the day to day running of Remarkable Entertainment and the expansion of the development slate. Her particular focus is on new IP in studio entertainment, large-scale competition formats and reality across linear and SVOD platforms.

Cat is the co-developer and lead Executive Producer on Building the Band, a hugely ambitious new music/reality series for Netflix America. Leading the charge on US/UK commissions, Building the Band paves the way for Remarkable to produce shows on both sides of the Atlantic.

Whilst at Remarkable, Cat was the Showrunner/Executive Producer across, All Together Now, Ready Steady Cook, Sunday Brunch and two series of ITV’s Saturday night singing show Starstruck. Most recently she was Executive Producer on the reboot of Deal or no Deal for ITV, recommissioned for a bumper order.

Before joining Remarkable in 2018, Cat was Creative Director at Studio Lambert running entertainment label Glitterbox. As a freelancer her credits include The X Factor, Big Brother, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The Million Pound Drop and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire as well as directing the pilot and subsequent episodes of global format giant Come Dine with Me.
