James Fox

Joint Managing Director

James Fox is Joint Managing Director of Remarkable, overseeing our entertainment output. His credits include hit gameshow Pointless and Pointless Celebrities, The Big Spell, The Million Pound Drop, The Bank Job, Two Tribes and Ejector Seat.

James started his career at BBC Entertainment working in development and production across a wide-range of Saturday night entertainment including Strictly Come Dancing. After a stint at Fever Media, he moved to Los Angeles to join BBC Worldwide Productions as Creative Director. He secured a number of commissions for broadcast and cable networks including The Great American Road Trip. On returning to the UK in 2010, James worked as an Executive and Series Producer for Initial, TwoFour and RDF before joining Remarkable as Head of Entertainment in 2012.

Kitty Walshe

Joint Managing Director

As Joint Managing Director of Remarkable, Kitty Walshe oversees a range of shows including The House that £100K Built and Animal Park for the BBC and Face to Face – a new Katie Piper-fronted show for Channel 4.

She joined Remarkable from TwoFour where she was Head of Features and developed ITV’s This Time Next Year. Prior to that, she was an executive producer at Remarkable, responsible for a number of factual entertainment shows, including Secret Eaters, Gok’s Fashion Fix and Supersize vs Superskinny.

 

 

Susan King

Director of Production

Director of Production for Remarkable since January 2011, Sue oversees both the Factual and Entertainment output.

With an established career in TV production spanning over 25 years, Sue has a long history working with various Endemol Shine companies on factual, features & entertainment programming for all major broadcasters. As Production Manager, she worked on long-running BBC favourites  such as Food & Drink, Changing Rooms, Ground Force and Ready Steady Cook, followed by 11 years as Production Executive successfully leading production on stripped reality, live studio & OB and location filming.

Credits include C4’s The Games, The Million Pound Drop, Celebrity Scissorhands, Animal Park, Snog Marry Avoid and ITV’s Extinct. Sue is committed to supporting and encouraging innovative programming, maintaining high production values and developing new production talent.

Creative Director

Dom joined Remarkable in 2010 and has responsibility for expanding the company’s slate, creating and exec producing new entertainment formats for both the UK and international markets.

Formerly, he worked as a freelance producer/director for a range of production companies, producing and developing a variety of programming for all major broadcasters, with shows including Soccer Aid, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Strictly Lady Sumo, The Convention Crasher, Fear Factor and International King of Sports.

His credits at Remarkable include Pointless and Pointless Celebrities, Two Tribes, Ejector Seat, The Bank Job and The Million Pound Drop.

Richard Hague

Richard Hague

Richard has been executive producer on many Remarkable entertainment shows including Pointless and Deal or No Deal, and has most recently finished exec producing The Big Spell for Sky One.

In the past, he has exec produced 1vs100, Guesstimation, Divided and Richard Hammond’s Secret Service, as well as series produced on Swapheads, Number One and Beat the Nation.

Before his time at Remarkable, he worked for several production companies including Thames and Lion TV and Granada, as executive producer on Cash Cab and the award winning hidden camera comedy show, I’m Spasticus.

Patrick Furlong

Patrick Furlong

Head of Factual

Patrick joined Remarkable in September 2016 to head up their growing factual slate. He has a long track record in delivering popular factual series for the major broadcasters, exec producing the acclaimed series Employable Me for the BBC as well as the BAFTA nominated series Escape to the Wild for Channel 4.

Previously, he worked as a producer/exec producer at Optomen Television for 10 years, receiving an RTS award for Heston’s Feasts as well as series editing Kevin McCloud’s Man Made Home. Other producer credits include Great British Waste Menu, Gordon Ramsay’s F-Word and BBC Horizon. Patrick has also worked in the US, where he devised the long-running Discovery series Most Evil.

Before joining Remarkable as an executive producer, Tamara was head of programmes at Victory Television – developing and producing all of their broadcast and pilot projects. These included The National Lottery: Win Your Wish List, Benchmark, 5 Minutes to a Fortune, Live Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, and was part of Sony Pictures Television International’s Creative Development team. Her other credits include seven series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Dame Edna Treatment, All Star Mr & Mrs, The British Comedy Awards, Chris Moyles Quiz Night and Odd One In.

Sarah Boyce

Production Executive

Sarah oversees productions from early budgeting and development through to delivery and transmission. Having joined Remarkable in February 2015, she works across both Factual and Entertainment programmes including The House That £100K Built for BBC2 and The Big Spell for Sky One.

Previously Sarah was a freelance Production Manager and spent 12 years building up experience on a wide range of studio, location and live programming including Big Brother, The National Lottery Draw Shows, Gok’s Clothes Roadshow and Cowboy Builders among others. Highlights include relaunching Fifteen to One with its first celebrity special and being taught how to use a sewing machine by Carole Smillie on Changing Rooms.

Joff Wilson

Joff Wilson

Executive Producer

Having worked as a jobbing producer/director at Talkback, Optomen and Hat Trick, Joff returned to Endemol in 2007 to series produce Animal Park.

A property and wildlife specialist, he worked on the original Restoration series for the BBC and played a key role in developing and launching Restoration Home as well as The House that £100k Built. Across five series, Joff and his team have filmed over forty different building projects, from bathrooms to entire houses.

Joff recently relaunched Animal Park on BBC ONE and couldn’t be happier to be testing the strength of the tigers, pregnancy testing rhinos and hand rearing pelicans for a living once again.

 

Hayley Vermeulen

Hayley Vermeulen

Production Executive

Hayley has been a Production Executive at Remarkable for 5 years, responsible for factual and entertainment projects from early budgeting and development stages through production to delivery and beyond. Credits include Snog Marry Avoid, Supersize vs Superskinny, Bodyshockers, Pointless, Animal Park and Deal or no Deal on Tour.
A product of the BBC Production Management Trainee scheme, Hayley grew her experience on a variety of history and popular features programming and as a freelance PM looked after series including The F Word, Great British Menu, The Sex Education Show and Winter Wipeout. Highlights include filming in the A&E department of Johannesburg’s general hospital for BBC’s Trauma Africa and organising a banquet hosted by HRH Prince Charles for The Great British Menu.
